Okay, okay! Here goes.

The ever-lovely Hanae got a fic prompt on LJ for a LeonxCloud fairy tale (with Cloud as the princess, naturally) and I wanted to just leave it to her, but my fingers started itching. (this was inspired by the same thing)

Then I looked at my 1,000 themes challenge and said "Oh! There it is!" No looking back.

I know I promised never to draw Cloud in a dress, but that promise was bound to be broken sometime.

Sephiroth is the evil one-winged sorcerer, I suppose. I wanted him to be doing the "ohohohoho" laugh, but I realized after I started inking him that it was more of a "kukuku" pose. Ah well.

Cid is the grumpy old wizard. I would have used Merlin, except Merlin is already a grumpy old wizard, so that's no fun.

Yuffie and Aerith are the good fairies, because. <3

Tifa is...the young peasant girl destined to save the kingdom? I just wanted her in there because I luff her. <3

I'm sure the princess is not protesting his rescue, but warning our brave Sir Leonhart of the approaching FIRE BREATHING DRAGON!
