Well, I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and I simply can’t keep up with two accounts.

EDIT: I'm sitting here reading "The Incomplete" and bawling my eyes out. T_T It's a doujin that retells FF7 as if Zack survived and became the main character...it's really amazing. *_* I found it scanlated here: [link] Uhmm yeah. Suffice to say I feel inadequate because a new RP of mine is based on the same premise except with more details about Crisis Core thrown in, and I'm afraid it won't turn out as good as this! XD

(suffice to say this doujin is the only time I've given in to the urge to yell "I LOVE YOU SEPHIROTH" out loud and now I'm mortified and disappointed in myself. XD It makes you feel really bad for him, though. GRR HUMANIZING VILLAINS WHO DOES THAT *coughcoughCrisisCorecoughcough*)

EDIT 2: Eh I'm exhausted and going to bed. Tablet results are so far: I installed the driver from the official website instead and replaced the pen nib, which improved the smoothness of strokes but now the cursor jumps to a fixed spot at the beginning an end of strokes. I'm not sure whether it's the stylus or the tablet itself, but I'm not sure I want to spend $10 and shipping for a new stylus just to find out. I might as well just buy a new, nicer tablet altogether...but ah, money is short T_T there's no way I can afford a Wacom. And I don't think I'll get another one of these if I can get something nicer that'll be more of an asset once I'm in school.



I should really be asleep right now, but I'm not. Hah.

Well, there's always good with the bad, I suppose...and the bad is temporary, but it doesn't stop it from getting on my nerves.

I got into school for the fall! Off to college

Anddd my new computer came the other day. :> I gushed a bit about her on my LJ, but I'm still sorting things out...my brother hooked up my old harddrive and I can view my files, but apparently I can't transfer or edit any of my pictures for some reason. Next time he's over I'm going to ask him to help me sort it out.

I downloaded a trial version of Photoshop CS2 while Im waiting to get a proper imaging program in the meantime, in hopes of finally channeling my frustration at not being able to do digital art for months into something really nice for once, but my tablet decided not to behave. I misplaced the CD it came with so I had to download the driver, but for some reason the cursor jumps upward in fits and starts and makes it altogether impossible to use. I'm not really sure what's wrong. Without the driver it didn't do that, but the pen pressure didn't work and the screen proportion was off, so it wasn't any better...

Pretty cool if you're into abstract, I guess, but it's just frustrating for me. -_-

I did at least scan some of the more recent stuff from my sketchbook and post it on my sketchblog. (pssst there's some LeonCloud if you need convincing to click.)

In the meantime, I splurged on some Crisis Core doujinshi, so I scanned the covers for fun. :> Overture and refreshments vol.2. Someday I'm going to scan a bunch of the doujinshi I own properly, but in the meantime, have something ridiculously cute.

So I went through the trouble of registering for a Japanese Square Enix members' account even though I already have a North American one, just so I could see the Dissidia trailer in high-quality...I had to use an online translator because the computer I'm using fails and can't read Japanese font. And guess what? It won't load...-_- I think I need the newest version of Flash or something, but this is just a guest account and I don't have the priviledges to install it...lame. Very lame. Why the heck is SE so damn exclusive about their trailers anyway? Aren't trailers advertisements? Shouldn't they be seen by as many people as possible?

Ooh, stumbled on my own 15,000 pageviews. Whee.

I've been roleplaying/drawing so much Genesis/Sephiroth lately that I went through Leon/Cloud withdrawl. XDDD It is forever my OTP, I guess. I should do that yaoi meme or something. ...once I have a working computer again. T_T

Gotta finish up my costumes for Portcon...two and a half days left...ahh what is wrong with me, wasting time on the internet.

I'm doing Crisis Core Zack. :> was gonna be my Aerith but then she bailed out (boo) and decided to do Genesis instead. (yay! XD ) I have to finish her coat for her (vinyl is eeeevil) and she's styling my wig. <3 I forsee some Genesis/Zack in the future....lol. With cosplay any pairing goes. (*throws in as Luke from ToA* Crossover! 8D )

Part of me wants to just ditch and make this my main account. *sprawls on desk* Probably because I have 1,000+ messages over there.
